Zebra Isopods
Armadillidium maculatum ‘Zebra’
One of the first types of isopods to be kept as a pet and enjoyed for their care and aesthetics, rather than just being a cleanup crew. They are homebred for resiliency and classic black and white stripe pattern. They are very active and not shy. The perfect first isopod pet!
They need a dry area in their enclosures with plenty of ventilation. As part of the bioactive setup, they should have plenty of decaying organic material as the main source of food.
Armadillidium needs plenty of ventilation. They do prefer warmer conditions. Ideally between 75-80º F.
