Orange Koi Isopods

These bold beauties are one of the original isopod species in the hobby. They are homebred for hardiness, adaptability and their bold orange color. Each bears a mottled arrangement of white spots, just like the Koi fish they’re named after.
Porcellio tends to like it on the dryer side with a humidity level of 50% or higher for these isopods. It’s important to maintain the humidity levels and adding plenty of ventilation to achieve a good balance.
Their adaptable nature allows them to still do well in a tropical terrarium setup.
These isopods do best between 70-84º F.
